It was done in the studio (so called) by putting some of the broken pieces of glass in a small shadow box picture frame and balancing it between the legs of an upside down stool. I then back lit it by placing a table lamp on the floor shooting up through the glass.
Metadata: 1/40th of a second @ f/9, ISO 160, set on aperture priority. Lens: EF 50mm f/1.8
