  1. What lens did you use to get such detail in the first picture??? Was that in the "studio"?

  2. Yes, in the studio, as are most all of the non-outdoor shots. The lens is the "fantastic plastic" 50mm f/1.8 with an extension tube, which allows you to get up close. I tried the expensve 17-40 f/4.0 "L" lens but in the end the $65.00 lens won the day.
