Some things they do make us very proud, other things...not so much.

Hanging out the rear window:
Matt, Christian & Nate. Mike behind the wheel, sporting a five day stache, that would take most homo sapiens six months to grow.

Water in Motion

Taken under a bridge to minimize overhead light from the sky. I tried slower shutter speeds, but this gave me the closest thing to what I was looking for.

Av (aperture priority)
0.5 second @ f/4-on a tripod
ISO 100
70-200mm lens /10D

PP (post processing): Slightly warmed color temperature (white balance) in ACR (Adobe Camera Raw).

California Dream'n

With overnight temps dropping below zero and having to drive on icy roads, it's enough to make a boy day dream of balmy summer days, sail boats, sand between your toes, and...well, you know what I'm talk'n about.

More Stuff From The Yard

The Autumn leaves are gone, it's getting colder, but not yet enough snow for any good P.O.'s, so I'm having to make due with what's at hand. I think these are called rose hips, but I not sure. The pattern in the out of focus background is called bokeh. This was taken with the "fantastic plastic" cheapo lens (55mm f1.8), which has some of the best bokeh I've seen.
