Peeling Back the Petals of a Rose

Linda says her Grandmother called them Wild Roses. To me, it's just one more thing popping up in our yard that will hold still long enough for me to take a picture.

Found These Little Ladies Muscling Themselves in Between The Rose Bushes

Midway in Bloom

Went up to Midway Saturday evening in the open Jeep to photograph a rodeo, but on the way to the arena I went through town (love that place) and the whole place is in full bloom. The smell of the lilacs is so over powering that it make your head swoon. So I went to the rodeo in Heber, but stayed only a few minutes, just couldn't resist that little village. We're going up Monday night for dinner.

In Midway You Can Still Find Something Old and Something Old

Ancient Graffiti

On the cliffs in Arches National Park

Balanced Rock - Arches

This may be one of the strangest things I've ever seen. That giant boulder perched atop that little pinnacle. There is no way to describe how big this thing is.

Zoomed Way In.

If you look on the right side of the picture you'll see some white shirted tourist. This will give you some of the idea of how large the rock is.

The Three Gossips (Arches National Park - Moab)

Little Yellow Belly

This little fella kept an eye on me as I maneuvered to get some shots of the horses. Must have been close to his/her nest.

Breakfast in Moab

The colors in this place are always changing, depending on the light (as usual). Just a couple of minutes after this picture was taken, the mountains in the background were hit by the rising sun - which gave us the following image.

The Light Show Goes on

Park Avenue

This trail may be called Park Avenue, but I call it Hell's Canyon...though it was amazing. And yes, that is Gary Rue.

Sunset on the Colorado River - Moab

Weathered Wood

Sort'a looks like something - but I don't know what...a crock maybe, with the two eyes. Anyway it was the texture and lines that attracted me.
